Alice Meyer Wallace

Born in 1941 in Philadelphia.
Won many scholarships.  The most helpful was 1st prize from Scholastic magazines National contest resulting in a scholarship to Rhode Island School of Design which resulted in great creative fun, life long friends, and the European Honours Program which resulted in a year in Italy and a life long wanderlust resulting in houses in Mallorca and Paros, Greece, marriage, great creative fun and more life long friends. Some people prefer her watercolours (fresh, of the moment. virtuosity pieces)... Some prefer the oils (internal pieces requiring long painting time); and everyone likes the lighter cartoony pieces.
